Modifying electric service for your business
If you need to make changes to your business electric service, call the SRP Construction Contact Center at (602) 236-0777(602) 236-0777 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Service changes you can make include:
- Change in voltage requirements
- Change in equipment load
- Upgrade in SES amperage
- Relocation of service lines
- Electrical modification to bring up to code
- Removal of temporary power pole or metered service
New meter addition If a new meter is being added to the building, see the electric meter tags specifications.
When requesting changes to your electric service, we will need to know the following information:
- Type of business
- Square footage of building
- Reason the modifications are necessary
- Size of new SES, in amps
- Phase: single-phase or three-phase
- Voltage: 120/240, 120/208, 277/480
- Existing air-conditioning tonnage and/or evaporative cooling horsepower
- Any added air-conditioning tonnage and/or evaporative cooling horsepower
- Existing equipment load, in horsepower
- Existing lighting load, in kilowatts (if applicable)
- Any added lighting load, in kilowatts (if applicable)
