Custom business solutions
This program offers the flexibility to identify and implement energy efficiency projects that are unique to a particular facility and its operations. If energy savings can be measured, the project probably qualifies.
Preliminary assessments are available to qualifying customers to help identify energy-saving opportunities.
Available rebates
- Equipment: $0.08 per kilowatt-hour for the first year of electricity savings plus $300 per average peak kW saved, up to 75% of the incremental custom cost
- Pump assessment: Up to $500 per pump, with a max of $3,000
- Compressed air system leak assessment: 100% up to $25 per hp
- Preliminary assessment: 100% funded up to $3,000
- Technical assessment: 50% of the preapproved cost, up to $15,000; 100% (up to a maximum of $30,000) if suggested improvements are made
- Up to $1,500 for Energy Star Portfolio Manager Benchmark
- Up to $3,000 for Demand Response Assessment

Retrocommissioning
Retrocommissioning is a systematic tuneup of major building components to enhance performance rather than relying on major equipment replacement.
SRP designed this program exclusively for our commercial and industrial customers to help them successfully implement cost-effective measures that can save up to 15% on electric bills.
Available rebates
- Retrocommissioning Solutions provides a rebate for large facilities of $0.05 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) saved in the first year plus $100 per average peak demand (kW) reduced.
- Monitoring-Based Commissioning (MBCx) customers will receive 50% of the cost, up to $15,000, to pay for integrating monitoring software and hardware. An additional 50%, up to $15,000, is available at the successful completion of an MBCx project.
- New construction buildings are eligible for 100% of the cost, up to $12,000, for integrating monitoring software and hardware on new buildings.
- Customers are subject to a maximum rebate of $450,000 from May 1 through April 30 for all SRP programs, with separate program area caps of $300,000 for Energy Efficiency programs, $300,000 for Business EV programs, and $50,000 for Electric Technology programs. Program or technology-based limits may also be applicable, based on program terms and conditions. SRP reserves the right to determine at their sole discretion the program year to which a rebate is attributed.

New construction
The New Construction Solutions program offers opportunities through two distinct participation tracks to encourage the implementation of energy efficiency measures in new construction projects.
Available rebates
Enhanced Performance Track (energy design assistance)
- For multifamily buildings with 20,000 square feet or more of conditioned floor space and for all other commercial and industrial buildings with 50,000 square feet or more of conditioned floor space; in early design stage
- No-cost hourly building simulation modeling of potential energy efficiency measures
- No-cost lighting designer service
- Design team compensation up to $15,000 to support the evaluation of energy efficiency measures
- Equipment rebates are paid at $0.10/kWh and $150 per average peak kW for the first year of electrical energy and demand savings, respectively.
Expedited Track
- For buildings with at least 20,000 square feet of conditioned floor space and/or with accelerated design schedules
- Equipment rebates are paid at $0.10/kWh and $150 per average peak kW for the first year of electrical energy and demand savings, respectively.
