Your Strategic Distribution Manager can also assist in arranging planned outages that you or SRP require in order to perform necessary maintenance activities.

Tony Alvarado has been with SRP since 1990. He has extensive experience with SRP's corporate pricing, resource planning, customer service and more. He served as the project manager for complex, large-scale, new, substation construction projects in SRP's service territory.
A native of Arizona, Tony earned his Bachelor of Science in finance from Arizona State University, Master of Business Administration in management from Western International University and is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).

Chandra Mergan has been with SRP since 1994. She has extensive experience with SRP distribution operations, customer service and serves as the project manager for complex, large-scale, new substation construction projects.
A native of Arizona, Chandra is an active community volunteer and supporter of Rotary International. She earned her Bachelor of Science in public relations from Northern Arizona University, Master of Science in management and leadership from Western Governors University and is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).

Chelsea Clark joined SRP in 2023 after eight years in the electric utility industry with experience in transmission and distribution design, engineering, project management, customer services, damage assessment and construction.
Chelsea was raised in Morenci, Arizona, and received a Bachelor of Science in engineering from Arizona State University. She is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Energy Manager (CEM). She is also a yoga instructor and is involved in the Arizona watersports community.

Jim Custis has been with SRP for over 30 years, with experience in distribution design, construction, mapping, customer service and more.
A native of Arizona, Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Northern Arizona University. Jim is active in the community and is an AIA wrestling referee.

Doug Gooch joined SRP in 2015, after 20 years in the electric power systems industry helping business owners harden their operational power quality and reliability.
Doug received a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University and is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), Arizona Power Quality Association (APQA), and Arizona Technology Council (ATC). He actively serves in his community coaching youth sports and other neighborhood organizations.

Nolan Jeffries has been with SRP since 2016 and has worked in both customer services and strategic energy management. He has experience working with residential and business customers from multiple industries.
As an Arizona native, Nolan received a Bachelor of Science in applied management and a Master of Business Administration in management from Grand Canyon University.

Hector Penunuri has been with SRP since 1997, with experience in customer services, energy management, operations and more.
Hector earned a Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona University and is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and member of the Arizona Power Quality Association. He is also active in the community and has served on the boards of several organizations, including Local Initiatives Support Corporation, the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Dignity Health.
