Southeast Power Link public process
On Aug. 1, 2018, SRP filed an application for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility (CEC) with the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) for the Southeast Power Link.

Public process complete
At the conclusion of public hearings, the Arizona Power Plant and Transmission Line Siting Committee unanimously recommended approval of a CEC for the project. On Nov. 7, 2018, the ACC unanimously approved the CEC for the project. The approval is the final step of the application process and enables SRP to move forward with land acquisition, project design and construction. Read press release.
