FORESTS AND WATERSHED HEALTH

FORESTS AND WATERSHED HEALTH

The water in SRP's system starts as snow in the forests of northern Arizona. The health of the forest impacts the quality and sustainability of our shared water supply.

We're working to improve the health of these forests: planting in areas devastated by fire, managing areas that are overgrown and convening groups of scientists, government leaders and researchers to better understand how to keep these vital resources thriving.

SRP Reforestation Timeline

Together with our customers, we've planted 1.9 million trees over 7,000 acres of forest land. The timeline below provides an overview of the forest restoration work that SRP and our customers have funded, by project completion year.
